Description

Hi,
I have a problem with setting up recurrent tasks. Can you please help me with that?

New tasks are created by a cron job as expected, but recurrences do not inherit the assignee - thus the assignee does not receive a notification.

My environment:
Redmine version 5.0.4.stable
Ruby version 2.5.5-p157 (2019-03-15) [x86_64-linux-gnu]
Rails version 6.1.7
Environment production

Plugin version: 1.7

My settings: You can find screenshots in the attached file

Thank you a lot in advance for your help
Milos

Hi Milos,

There are 2 ways to automatically set assignee for recurrence. You need to either:
  • set default assignee in the Project settings in Redmine
    or
  • set the "Keep assignee from previous recurrence" option in plugin settings

As far as I understand from your description, you want the second solution. I can see in your screenshot that you have the "Keep assignee from previous recurrence" option disabled. Enable it and try again.

Thank you, it seems to work now. I've created two tasks now with a weekly and biweekly repetition so that I learn how to set it up.
